I met you shortly after my last breakup. You were the cousin of an acquaintance. We met at a football game where you kissed at least two other girls.
I giggled at everything you said, no matter how lame it was.
I think you made me nervous more than anything, but you thought my laughter was
me flirting. You hugged me and asked for a kiss goodbye. I didn’t say no.
The next few months you sent me a text every day after
school. You would ask about my day and my classes. You would tell me you missed
me. You needed someone to talk to is all it was, but I thought you were
gorgeous, so what did it matter?
You asked if I’d meet up with you for sex. I was 15 and
terrified. I said no and I never spoke to you again.
